Hired as a professional to assist an elderly couple in completing The Great Loop, I was entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring a smooth journey.
My duties included meticulous trip planning, efficient navigation of the boat, expert docking and tying up, as well as ensuring the boat's maintenance in the engine room. Additionally, I took care of cleaning both the exterior and interior, ensuring that the vessel was spotless at all times. With my expertise and skill set, I successfully delivered the couple safely back to Florida, leaving them with lasting memories of their once-in-a-lifetime trip around the Great Loop. I actively enhance vessel operations through my responsibilities, including standing helm watches, monitoring gangways, and upholding security. Helm Duties: I assist the Captain and Mate in steering the vessel and effectively handle lines, gangways, anchors, and marine equipment.
Gangway and Deck Watches: I conduct vigilant security, maintenance, and passenger assistance duties, ensuring a safe environment on deck. Logistics Management: I efficiently oversee the loading and unloading of luggage, ship stores, garbage, and other essential daily logistics tasks. Cleaning and Maintenance: I consistently maintain the cleanliness of all exterior decks, verandas, windows, furniture, and marine spaces. Laundry Operations: I manage the washing, drying, and folding of all ship laundry to ensure high standards of hygiene. Professional Appearance: I uphold a rigorous standard of personal grooming and maintain a polished uniform appearance at all times. Watch and Task Rotation: I skillfully rotate through day and night watch and task schedules, consistently working over 12 hours daily. Inspection Training: I am well-trained in Coast Guard inspections, participating in mock drills, and possess thorough knowledge of station bills and Certificate of Inspection (COI) requirements.

I regularly sailed between Ventura and San Diego Counties
aboard my uncle's 36-foot Catalina sailboat,
which is berthed in Marina Del Rey, California.
Our annual voyages to Catalina Island became a cherished tradition.
In the American Midwest, I gained extensive experience operating various watercraft on Michigan and Indiana's inland lakes.
My expertise extends to piloting speedboats, pontoons,
fishing vessels, sailboats, and personal watercraft.
My international boating experience includes
navigating the pristine waters of France's Gorges du Verdon,
departing from Lake Sainte-Croix.
I also had the privilege of exploring the Mediterranean Sea.
